2027 Spring Summer
Built around a non-binary protagonist, the collection sets out to dismantle a division that has held sway since 1764 — Immanuel Kant’s binary division assigning “beauty” to women and the “sublime” to men.
Following the brand’s LFW debut with L’île déserte (SS26) and last season’s Order (FW26), which traced the human journey toward the creation of order, SS27 turns its gaze inward. In a society in constant flux and philosophical inquiry, the collection proposes a harmonious aesthetic that defies categorical simplification — one that honours both the delicate and the powerful, the refined and the primitive.

2026 Fall Winter
Merging ancient Greek philosophy with 1930s functional beauty — proposing a “new order” through dialogue.
Building on the exploration of the “primordial self” in the debut collection L’île déserte, this season traces the human journey toward the creation of order — from the acquisition of language to the birth of philosophy.
The collection elevates ancient Greek spirituality into the functional mode of the 1930s, infused with the remnants of Art Deco.

2026 Spring Summer
AYA DESIGN’s official debut at London Fashion Week.
The collection draws inspiration from Gilles Deleuze’s essay “L’île déserte et autres textes”, interpreting the “uninhabited island” as a metaphor for the primordial self. In an age of increasing dependence on technology and social homogenisation, the collection’s narrative expresses a “movement” — a journey through the contemplative stillness of sei (静), a concept rooted in Zen — to reconnect with one’s inner self and engage in primitive, hands-on creativity for freedom.
The design proposes an “elegance defined by empty space” (yohaku), materialising a uniquely Japanese aesthetic where modernism, primitivism and multiculturalism quietly coexist. Founded on traditional tailoring, the genderless collection fuses this base with cutting and styling inspired by historical ethnic garments from around the world. A colour palette accented with natural hues of sand beige and soil brown, alongside high-performance fabrics developed by Japanese companies, illustrates the persona of the “new human” that the brand suggests.
